Standing 53 feet tall, the famous Hy-Gain HyTower is the world's best performing vertical! The AV-18HT features automatic band selection achieved through a unique stub-decoupling system which effectively isolates various sections of the
antenna so that an electrical 1/4 wavelength (or odd multiple of a 1/4 wavelength) exists on all bands.

Approximately 250kHz bandwidth at 2:1 VSWR on 80 Meters. With the addition of a base loading coil LC-160Q or MK-160A, it also provides exceptional 160 Meter performance. The 24 foot tower is all rugged, hot-dip galvanized steel and all
hardware is iridited for corrosion resistance. Special tilt-over hinged base for easy raising and lowering. 53 feet, 114 lbs. 17m add-on kit available, 160m add-on kit available, 160m 1500W add-on kit available.
